Reopening Information July 2020
 

Following the government announcement on 9th July, we are extremely excited to announce that on July 13th Body Beautiful Day Spa and Serenity  will be reopening its doors.

We have been deeply saddened to not see our wonderful clients over the last few months, but know that this has been in the best interest of our customers and staff.

In order to ensure that risks are minimised for all, we have undertaken a detailed risk assessment and put a number of procedures in place to make the environment as safe as possible.

It’s important to us that you to feel comfortable and relaxed in the knowledge that your health and safety is a priority to us. That way, you can sit back and enjoy the treatments that you deserve.
All of our plans have been made following the government guidelines set out.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Below are some questions that you may want to know the answer to. If you require more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us and we will be happy to discuss this further with you.

Can I get a walk-in appointment?

The government have advised all beauty salons that they must operate a booking only service and we will be adhering to this. Bookings can be made in the usual ways (via email and telephone) and we ask that customers advise us with appropriate notice if they cannot attend.

Who will be in the salon when I attend my appointment?

To minimise contact and people in the salon, only clients attending an appointment are able to attend. This means that appointments can only be made by telephone or email and not on site. In addition, we kindly ask that you are not accompanied to your appointment and bring minimal belongings with you.

How are you minimising risks & what strategies are you putting in place for client and staff safety?

In line with government guidelines we are following a risk assessment personal to our salon. We have measures in place for your safety and comfort and all of our staff are fully briefed on the expectations of them.

  • -  A strict cleaning process will take place before and after each client, using appropriate cleaning products. This is in addition to a daily deep clean.

  • -  Staff will be wearing protective visors and gloves and screens will be there for your and the staff’s safety.

  • -  Both clients and staff will be sufficiently spaced whilst in the salon a protective screen will be in place at reception.

  • -  We will minimise the number of staff and clients on site at any one time to avoid people being in close proximity of one another.

  • -  Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer our usual drinks and edible treats and ask that you do not bring your own to consume on site.

  • -  We will continue to offer you the same personal and high quality service as always, but time on the salon premises will be kept to a minimum.

  • -  You will be asked to wash your hands upon arrival and we can assure you that all of our staff will be frequently washing their hands. We will also ask you wear a face covering when you enter the salon (we have some available if you need one).

  • -  As always, we will be sterilising our equipment between clients and using disposable equipment wherever possible. We also have a track and trace system in place.

    Are the usual treatments all available?

    Unfortunately at this time we are unable to offer all of our usual treatments. For the foreseeable future we will not be carrying out any treatments on the face. 

    What do I do if I have Covid 19 symptoms but feel well enough to attend my appointment?

    If you or anyone in your household is displaying symptoms of Covid 19 you will not be able to attend your appointment and will be asked to reschedule. This is for the safety of you, our other clients and our staff. Please observe our usual cancellation policy as treatments are in demand and we do not want to waste appointments.

We ask that you notify us as soon as possible. Additionally, anyone that display symptoms of Covid 19 during their appointment will need to leave the salon immediately.

Will the price of my treatment change to before the closure?

Our planned price increase will also take effect on some treatments.
